I've been wearing cotton underwear the past week just to let the area breath, especially when I'm at the gym sweating a lot. So hopefully the yeast gets killed by my normal laundry! I'll have to look around and see if there is anything else I can do, although I've had plenty of yeast infections in my female parts and those never seem to spread to the underwear luckily. It's about as high up as your butt crack goes. Every time I touch it with toilet paper there is a little blood on it. Now, as of today, I seem to have like an inch long cut that is bleeding way up in, I guess the most polite way to say it is between my butt crack. I also have some pimples or a rash on my butt cheeks which seems to be slowly getting better. I still see at least 2 bumps in the area and it's still very red, but not nearly as painful as last week or even last weekend. Went to my GP and she told me it was a yeast infection, gave me some antifungal cream which seems to have helped a bit. Now I have a rash and very, very red bottom around the anus area.
I had a fissure that finally healed about 2 weeks ago. Ever since my 11th colonoscopy about a month ago (and 2 day hospital stay after due to pain nobody ever figured out), my bottom has just not quite been the same.
